D4Chess

AI-powered chess coaching and analysis. Most tools hand you the best move. D4Chess makes you find it first — then walks you through the game you actually played.

What it is

A web chess trainer Haven Command built and still operates. Play against the computer, step through a game, run engine analysis, drill puzzles, and — when the product can stand behind the sentence — get coached on the mistakes that were actually on the board.

The problem

Chess software is good at grading moves. It is worse at teaching the player who just made them. A fluent coach that invents a prettier game is worse than silence: the student studies a ghost. Club players do not need another best-move feed. They need a lesson that matches their game.

What Haven Command built

The product around the engine and the coach: play, analysis, puzzles, accounts, and a coaching loop that is not allowed to narrate fiction. When the system cannot ground an answer in the real game, it stays quiet. Support for the product is at support@d4chess.club.

Key capabilities

What was hard — at the product level

A coach that sounds right and is wrong is a trust problem, not a demo bug. Haven Command already shipped the broken version of that experience and replaced it: the lesson matches the record, or it does not run. How that is enforced is not on this page. The outcome is. See the insights note.
